Efficiency analysis of nuclear power plants: A comprehensive review

Nuclear power plants play a significant role in global electricity generation, offering reliable and low-carbon energy source. Maximizing the efficiency of nuclear is crucial for optimizing output reducing operational costs while ensuring safety environmental sustainability. This paper presents comprehensive review analysis conducted on plants, covering various aspects such as thermal efficiency, conversion fuel utilization, overall plant performance. The synthesizes existing literature, discusses key factors influencing highlights potential areas future research improvements. It revealed from present that Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) Power Plant 32% which can be increased to 33% by using advanced BWR. Also, Pressurized (PWR) 36.5% PWR with Gas Burner Reheating. On other hand, Small Modular (SMR) 33.4% 35.5%, 37.4% 45% SMR Burner, Reheating CCGT, respectively. Therefore, it predicted most economic has higher when incorporated Combined Cycle Turbine (CCGT).
