چکیده
Introduction: Coats disease is a retinal vascular disorder that may lead to progressive exudative detachment. The standard regiment of treatment focal therapy. However, its effectiveness decrease when more than two quadrants the retina exhibit abnormalities. Thus, recent studies tried use anti endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) as therapy for problems. Aims: Comparing efficacy between anti-VEGF injection and such laser Methods: Literature searching was conducted through PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, ProQuest, SpringerLink. Search terms included "Coats’ Disease" mesh “Anti- VEGF". assessed based on Best-Corrected Visual Acuity (BCVA) improvement in fundus manifestations. Results: All primary intravitreal were followed by necessary ablative treatment. These studies, Yang Q Zheng XX, et al. showed remarkable improvements both visual acuity anatomical outcomes. Laser also gained satisfactory result upgrading clinical stages, even though some complications including subretinal fibrosis, cataract, vitreous hemorrhage reported. A comparative study Ray R, noted group undergoing might require longer sessions despite possible benefits. Conclusion: Anti-VEGF agents can be used neoadjuvant It did not reduce time full treatment, but resolution seen most severe cases treated with combination

Purpose We evaluate changes in choroidal thickness after intravitreal injection (IVI) therapy for pachychoroid neovasculopathy (PNV). Methods An observational, retrospective, consecutive case series was studied of 18 patients (18 eyes) who underwent anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy for PNV. The 18 fellow eyes in these patients were used as controls. All eyes were evaluat...

Objective(s): Emergence of resistant tumor cells to the current therapeutics is the main hindrance in cancer treatment. Combination therapy, which mixes two or more drugs, is a way to overcome resistant problems of cancer cells to current treatments. Nanobodies are promising tools in cancer therapy due to their high affinity as well as high penetration to tumor sites....
