Purpose. The objective of this study was to assess the impact beverages and tooth brushing on microhardness different restorative materials. Materials-methods. Disk-shaped samples compomer (Dyract XP), glass ionomer cement (GIC) (Ionofil Molar AC), composite resin (Filtek Z250) were prepared. randomly allocated four groups conditioned in various (cheery juice, cola, chocolate milk, distilled water) for 3 hours per day over 60 days. Each group further subdivided a non-brushing subgroup. In group, brushed once daily with toothpaste an electric toothbrush. surface hardness measured at baseline after Results. increased all solutions (p<0.05). exhibited decrease immersion cola cherry juice GIC be lower Brushing had no effect any (p>0.05) Conclusion.
