Effects of Thin Film Morphology of Polymer Hole Transfer Material on Photovoltaic Performance of Perovskite Solar Cells

In the present study, effects of chain length variation Poly(3-hexyl) thiophene polymer, which is one appropriate alternatives Spiro-O-MeTAD used as a hole transfer layer (HTL) in perovskite-based solar cells (PSC), on thin-film morphology and device performance were investigated. Furthermore, nanowires long (UZ) short-chain (KZ) P3HT obtained solution phase then comparative photovoltaic analyses carried out by fabricating PSC devices. As result, it was determined that morphological changes resulting from polymer directly affect charge between active HTL. KZ-P3HT presented better than both standard (5.99) UZ-P3HT (2.68) polymers with power conversion efficiency (PCE) 7.74%. It demonstrated main reason for this fringed structure, detected AFM images, increases contact ratio at perovskite/HTM interface. addition, thanks to improvements nano-wire studies, observed containing increased 5.51%. Contrary UZ-P3HT, after nanowire, structure surface disappeared therefore decreased 5.81%.
