Effects of selective RNA processing and stabilization enzymes on carbon sequestration by photosynthesis of Synechococcus sp. PCC7002

Synechococcus is one of the most abundant prokaryotic photosynthetic organisms on Earth and plays a key role in oceanic carbon fixation transformation. To improve efficiency synechococcus , post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism - Selective RNA Processing Stabilization (SRPS) was considered. We inactivated SRPS-enzymes, executor SRPS mechanism, to explore their regulation rule . The results showed that inactivation SRPS-enzymes mainly affected growth rate or phase. It significantly alters oxygen evolution rate, pigment content, chlorophyll fluorescence, nitrogen as well composition biological activity dissolved organic matter derived from (SOM). Inactivating an increase expression level subunits Cytochrome b6-f complex, while levels PSI, PSII, RuBisCO, NDH decrease. All are involved basilic protein complexes photosynthesis, such ATP synthase, RuBisCO. Our indicate have significant influence sequestration by photosynthesis sp. PCC7002.
