Effects of Sea Level Rise on Land Use and Ecosystem Services in the Liaohe Delta

چکیده
Sea level rise (SLR) has a significant impact on the ecosystem services in coastal wetlands. Taking Liaohe Delta as an example, SLAMM (Sea Level Rise Affecting Marsh Model) was used to simulate medium-term (2010–2050) and long-term (2010–2100) of spatiotemporal changes land use four scenarios (0.5, 1, 1.5, 2 m) sea by 2100 then based InVEST (Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Tradeoffs assess compare SLR services. The results are follows. (1) difference height greatly influences transformation wetland pattern. In 2100, core construction would be affected large scale for landward salt marsh migration 1.5 m scenarios. (2) Due inundation, erosion, vegetation succession, mean total carbon storage will decrease about 0.58 × 106 t. habitat quality is relatively stable, its value 0.7. nitrogen phosphorus loads reduced 26.27% 28.22%, respectively. region spatial distribution freshwater marshes shrink, while inconsistent. large-scale formation regularly flooded can also provide high levels marshes. conclusion, wetlands show two evolution patterns under scenarios, low ones slow change, large. Quantitative assessment effects, scope intensity function reference indicative significance development, construction, ecological conservation, restoration similar areas climate change.

Effects of the land use change on ecosystem service value
The impacts of land utilization change on the ecosystem service values in Daqing during 1995 to 2015 were analyzed based on unit area ecosystem service value of Chinese territorial ecosystem from Mr. Xie Gaodi and ecosystem service value calculation formula from Costanza. Results showed that the ecosystem service value of Daqing decreased from US $4343.1559m in 1995 to US $3824.327m in 2015, wi...
متن کاملForecasting the effects of accelerated sea-level rise on tidal marsh ecosystem services
© The Ecological Society of America www.frontiersinecology.org T wetlands such as salt, brackish, and freshwater marshes provide essential ecosystem services to society. Such services include functions associated with regulation, habitat, and production (Daily et al. 1997; de Groot et al. 2002). Positioned at the interface between land and sea, tidal marshes are uniquely suited to provide ecosy...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

nitric oxide (no) is a small molecule synthesized by most of mammalian cells with diverse biological activities including vasodilatation, host defense and wound healing. impaired wound healing is a common occurrence among diabetics and patients receiving glucocorticoid therapy. on the other hand the application of laser in biomedical area have been increased. thus, the current studies were desi...
