چکیده

The objective of the present study was to evaluate effect supplementing low nutrient density diet growing pigs with probiotics complex on growth performance, digestibility, faecal microbial, and noxious gas emission. A total 140 crossbred female castrated male healthy [(Yorkshire × Landrace) Duroc, 54 days age] an average initial body weight (BW) 24.39 ± 2.58 kg were used in a 42-day trial. All randomly allotted one four treatment diets based BW sex (seven replicate pens/treatment; two gilts, three barrows/pen). Dietary treatments were: (i) HD, high diet, (ii) LD, (iii) T1, LD + 0.05% probiotics. (iv) T2, 0.10% At end experiment BW, daily gain (ADG), gain: feed ratio (G: F) tended be higher (p < .1) HD compared treatment. However, supplementation showed comparable as that diet. There no differences > .05) intake (ADFI), backfat thickness, lean meat percentage, apparent tract digestibility (ATTD) dry matter (DM), nitrogen (N), energy among treatments. increased Lactobacillus counts reduced NH3 emission In conclusion, results this demonstrated beneficial effects concentration, suggesting.HighlightsTo 2 levels (0.05%, 0.1%) (Bacillus subtilis ms1, Bacillus licheniformis SF5-1, Saccharomyces cerevisiae) pigs.Probiotics has shown performance. The emission. The B. S. cerevisiae may helpful alternative antibiotics.

Effects of bromelain supplementation on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, blood profiles, faecal microbial shedding, faecal score and faecal noxious gas emission in weanling pigs

A total of 140 weanling pigs [(Yorkshire × Landrace) × Duroc] with an average body weight (b.w.) of 6.75 ± 1.48 kg were used in a six-week trial. Pigs were randomly allotted to one of four experimental treatments according to their initial b.w. (seven pens per treatment with five pigs per pen). Dietary treatments were: CON = control diet, T1 = CON + 0.05% bromelain, T2 = CON + 0.10% bromelain, ...

Effects of Supplementation of Probiotics on the Performance, Nutrient Digestibility and Faecal Microflora in Growing-finishing Pigs

Two experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of dietary supplementation of Bacillus, Saccharomyces and lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on performance and nutrient digestibility in grower and finisher pigs. In Exp. 1, 80 pigs (32 females and 48 males), 28.7±0.9 kg body weight (BW), were randomly divided into 4 treatment groups balanced for sex and weight (5 pigs per pen, 4 pens per treatm...
