چکیده
To explore the role of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and interferon (IFN) in innate immunity against porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), we detected expression TLR genes PEDV-infected IPEC-J2 cells by real-time PCR. We also level α (IFN-α) γ (IFN-γ) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results showed that exhibited a clear pathological change after PEDV infection at 24 h. In addition, TLR7, TLR9 TLR10 expressions were significantly upregulated Interestingly, patterns TLR2 TLR4 consistent different stages infection. The TLR3 decreased with increase time, but levels TLR5 TLR8 6 h 12 lower than those control group (p⟨0.01). There significant correlations among (p⟨0.05). Cytokine detection secretion IFN-α was higher (p⟨0.01), IFN-γ Therefore, our results suggest can induce immune responses intestinal jejunum epithelial cells, leading to changes receptors, regulate resistance affecting release downstream cytokines.

Novel Approach for Isolation and Identification of Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDV) Strain NJ Using Porcine Intestinal Epithelial Cells
Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), which is the causative agent of porcine epidemic diarrhea in China and other countries, is responsible for serious economic losses in the pork industry. Inactivated PEDV vaccine plays a key role in controlling the prevalence of PEDV. However, consistently low viral titers are obtained during the propagation of PEDV in vitro; this represents a challenge to...

To the Editor: Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) was first detected in pigs in the United States in May 2013 (1). Since then, according to the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (https://www.aasv.org, see link to number of new cases reported), PEDV has spread to 41 states, and as of October 15, 2014, 8,622 confirmed cases of PEDV infection have been reported in swine. PEDV (family...

Since late 2007, several outbreaks of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) infection have emerged in Thailand. Phylogenetic analysis places all Thai PEDV isolates during the outbreaks in the same clade as the Chinese strain JS-2004-2. This new genotype PEDV is prevailing and currently causing sporadic outbreaks in Thailand.
متن کاملBarrier protection via Toll-like receptor 2 signaling in porcine intestinal epithelial cells damaged by deoxynivalnol
Intestinal barrier is the first line of defense inside the body and comprises intercellular tight junction (TJ) proteins that regulate paracellular permeability. Deoxynivalenol (DON), a fungal metabolite often found in the contaminated food of domestic animals, is known to impair intestinal barrier function and may be involved in intestinal inflammation. Unlike in humans and mice, the importanc...
متن کاملEmergence of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus in southern Germany
BACKGROUND Over the last years, porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) has caused devastating enteric diseases in the US and several countries in Asia, while outbreaks in Europe have only been reported sporadically since the 1980s. At present, only insufficient information is available on currently circulating PEDV strains in Europe and their impact on the European swine industry. In this case ...
