چکیده
Abstract The effect of pH on available Cd in calcareous soils and culture substrate was studied by adding exogenous artificially adjusting the to create different conditions. It is expected provide reference for control pollution pH. cadmium chloride added soil make total content 1.0 mg kg –1 . adjusted, then cultivation detected under decreased with increasing range 3.40 8.97, showing a significant negative correlation. At 3.03 4.37, increased significantly pH, while at 4.37 9.47 not different.

Comparison of Cadmium Adsorption Behavior in Selected Calcareous and Acid Soils
Cadmium (Cd) concentration in soil solution and its bioavailability is controlled by sorption-desorption reactions. The objective of this research was to compare Cd adsorption behavior in six calcareous and four acid soils. Soil samples were equilibrated with 0.01 M Ca(NO3)2 containing 25 to 3200 mg Cd L−1. Results showed that the tendency for adsorption was high at low Cd concentrations (0-400...

متن کاملConcentration, pH, and surface charge effects on cadmium and lead sorption in three tropical soils.
Reactions of heavy metals with soil are important in determining metal fates in the environment. Sorption characteristics of two heavy metals, Cd and Pb, in three tropical soils (Mollisol, Oxisol, and Ultisol) from Puerto Rico were assessed at varying metal concentrations (0 to 1.2 mM) and pH values (approximately 2 to 7). All soils sorbed more Pb than Cd. Sorption maxima were obtained for each...
