Effects of Mode of Preparation of Titanium Dioxide Nanotube Arrays on Their Photocatalytic Properties: Application to p-Nitroaniline Degradation

چکیده

The aim of this study was to investigate the photoactivity dioxide titanium (TiO2) nanotube films depending on different structure factors including pore size, tube length, wall thickness and crystallinity. Aqueous p-nitroaniline used as a probe assess photocatalytic activity layers under UV irradiations. Self-organized thin were prepared by electrochemical anodization (Ti) foils Ti sputtered onto silicon (Si). amorphous as-formed then annealed at temperatures ranging from 450 900 °C in order form crystalline phases. morphology characterized surface analysis techniques scanning electron microscopy, respectively. resulting TiO2 evaluated monitoring degradation spectrophotometry determining nitrification yields ion chromatography. highest exhibited for nanotubes °C. presence rutile -obtained an annealing temperature °C—appeared reduce photodegradation yield p-nitroaniline. Finally, obtained revealed most efficient properties.
