Effects of Microbial Inoculation with Different Indigenous Bacillus Species on Physicochemical Characteristics and Bacterial Succession during Short-Term Composting

Bacillus accelerates lignocellulose degradation, promotes the stabilization and resource utilization of compost by secreting enzymes, plays an important role in formation quality control. This study evaluated enzyme activity, lignocellulosic bacterial succession composting inoculated with different microbial agents. They were identified as B. licheniformis, subtilis, thermoamylovorans, thermoruber, hisashii. Four treatments established, including a CK (uninoculated microorganisms), A (B. thermoamylovorans,and hisashii), B C lasted 7–14 days. Lignin cellulose degradation rates during 17.1% 36.7% at cooling stage, respectively. Redundancy analysis showed that thermophilic stage was mainly related to secretion lignocellulose-degrading enzymes after inoculation. 16S rRNA sequencing revealed (20.3%) Thermobifida (20.2%) dominant genera. Inoculation combination thermoruber feasible way increase promote maturity sewage sludge composting.
