Effects of machining parameters on H13 die steel using CNC drilling machine

In order to enhance the fitness of product and in improve productivity turning operations, greater amount challenges have been faced. this paper, we made a comparative analysis HSS carbide coated drills while machining with H13 steel plates. For drilling operation, process parameters were analysed using Taguchi design experiments. The response performance characteristics surface roughness die plates for settings, cutting speed (rpm), feed rate (mm/min) is optimized. experiment was conducted technique L18 orthogonal array, an variance observed. effect settings on quality drilled holes examined; variation various levels different combinations these will form array by analysis. A total 36 tests performed two drill bits; here three speeds 300, 600, 900 rpm taken 0.02, 0.04, 0.06 mm/rev combinations. SN ratio tool has found out feed. From analysis, it identified that optimal parameter. As result, factors are analysed, optimized concluded material HSS, tools examined both statistically experimentally. bit gives 60% better value based experimental data obtained. experimentation be 34.16% 23.40%.
