Effects of endogenous dopamine induced by low concentration atropine eye drops on choroidal neovascularization in high myopia mice

AIM: To evaluate effects of endogenous dopamine induced by low concentration atropine eye drops on choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in high myopia mice. METHODS: The C57BL/6J mice were deprived the right for 4wk, and was diagnosed optometry, diopter less than -6.00 D, CNV 532 nm laser. changes D1 receptor (DRD1), D2 (DRD2), vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) detected Western blot technology at 0.5, 1, 2h, 7d after 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.1% drops, respectively, area measured. RESULTS: Significant increases observed expression DRD2 mouse model with 0.05% (P<0.05). decreases DRD1 VEGFA laser drug-treated group significantly smaller that control group, higher concentration, more significant inhibitory effect CONCLUSION: can decrease level inhibit indirectly up-regulating down-regulating DRD1, is significant.
