Effects of Drip Irrigation and Top Dressing Nitrogen Fertigation on Maize Grain Yield in Central Poland

Maize is a plant of global cultivation range and great economic importance, which mainly due to its high yield potential versatile use as food, fodder, energy source. To evaluate the effects drip irrigation nitrogen fertigation on maize growth in light soil climate conditions Central Poland, field experiment was carried out 2015–2017, dependent split-plot design with four replications. Two factors were used: I. (W0—no irrigation, W1—optimal ensuring 100% coverage water needs during period increased needs), II—method top dressing application two doses 2 × 40 kg·ha−1 (T—traditional broadcasted urea, F—fertigation 6% aqueous solution urea).
