Effects of Different Fertilizers on Soil Microbial Diversity during Long-Term Fertilization of a Corn Field in Shanghai, China

The long-term applications of different fertilizers (chicken manure, swine and organic fertilizer) on the microorganisms a corn field were investigated. microbial communities during four periods (seedling, three-leaf, filling mature periods) comprehensively studied with molecular biology technology. Results showed that most nutrient contents (organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) levels several heavy metals (As, Pb, Cr) in chicken manures higher than those fertilizer. alpha diversity varied fertilization, manure was best fertilizer to maintain abundance microorganisms. community soil changes over time, regardless addition fertilizers. correlations between environmental factors revealed substances (available available potassium, NO3-N) significant characteristics manures, while matter nitrogen exhibited similar effects structure Pearson genus significantly tests compared others, Pseudomonas, Methyloligellaceae, Flavobacterium, Bacillus matter. This study will provide theoretical basis for improving land productivity sustainable development fields.
