چکیده
Abstract Background The study examined the effects of dietary supplementation Syzygium aromaticum leaf meal (SLM) on haematology, serum biochemistry and antioxidative status laying hens. Results A total 150 20-week-old Isa brown birds were randomly assigned to three experimental diets: Diet 1/control (no supplementation), 2 (0.25% SLM) 3 (0.50% SLM). Each diet was further divided into five (5) replicates comprised 10 per replicate, that is, 50 diet. fed with layers mash for 32 weeks feeding trial. Blood samples collected in 32nd week subjected haematological biochemical analyses. 0.25% 0.50% SLM did not significantly ( P > 0.05) affect parameters observed layer which indicated render anaemic nor compromise their immunity. Likewise, result protein (total protein, albumin, globulin albumin: globulin), enzymes (alanine aspartate aminotransferases) metabolites (creatinine, uric acid glucose) affected by treatment except concentration catalase glutathione peroxidase statistically higher < diets supplemented compared control group, while superoxide dismutase hens influenced 0.05). Conclusion at can be referred as a safe additive blood indices adversely affected. Also, liver functions investigated through impaired oxidative stress is triggered birds.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dihydropyridine on laying performance and fat metabolism of laying hens. Five hundred and forty laying hens, 40 weeks old, were randomly allotted to three groups, each of which included four replicates of 45 hens. The groups were given a basal corn-soybean meal diet supplemented with 0, 150 mg/kg and 300 mg/kg dihydropyridine. Results s...

The effect of supplementing two commercial multienzyme to diets included two barley cultivars (Sararood [71.99%] and Valfajr [66.39%]) on performance, egg quality, and blood parameters of laying hens was investigated in an 8-wk (65 to 73 wk of age) experiment. The commercial multienzymes were Grindazym™ (with mainly β-glucanase and xylanase activity) and Hemicell® (with mainly β-mannanase acti...
متن کاملEffects of dietary supplementation of quercetin on performance, egg quality, cecal microflora populations, and antioxidant status in laying hens.
Plant polyphenols, especially flavonoids, are of great interest due to their wide range of biological activities. Quercetin, a ubiquitous flavonoid, is known to have antioxidant and antibacterial effects. In this study, we investigated the effect of quercetin on performance, egg quality, cecal microflora populations, and antioxidant status in laying hens. Two hundred forty 28-wk-old Hessian lay...
