Effects of Co-Digestion Sludge Application on Soil Productivity

Anaerobic digestion and agricultural use of sewage sludge are effective methods to treat dispose sludge, respectively. Then, the anaerobic digested is applied in land improvement soil properties can be expected. In this study, with purpose evaluating potential co-digestion for use, plot experiments two vegetable species (radish Chinese cabbage) three application dosages were carried out a short term six months. Focus was on physical properties, nutrient change plant growth responses during whole process. Results showed that had little effect including bulk density, porosity, capillary porosity non-capillary porosity. However, after maximum increase content organic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolysable phosphorus available reached 51%, 125%, 212%, 15% 87%, respectively, which supplied nutrients quickly continuously. The promoted radish cabbage, observed through leaf, root biomass plants height. Consequently, has good prospect improving productivity as fertilizer.
