Effects of Chewing Gum Base on Oral Hygiene and Mental Health: A Pilot Study

The purpose of the present study was to clarify long-term effects frequent chewing unflavored and odorless gum (hereafter, base) on oral hygiene mental health. This single-arm study, which started with a 4-week control ended intervention period, conducted in two phases: one 2017 2018. participants comprised 36 dental students (17 2017, 19 2018).
