Effective comparison of neutrino-mass models

New physics in the lepton sector may account for neutrino masses, affect electroweak precision observables, induce charged-lepton flavor violation, and shift dipole moments. The low-energy predictions of different models are most conveniently compared within formalism effective field theory. To illustrate benefits this approach, we derive Wilson coefficients a set representative models: fermionic seesaw mechanisms (types I III), Zee model, minimal leptoquark model. In each case, Weinberg operators have qualitatively origins. parallel, present model-independent constraints on coming from various observables. We then show that it becomes straightforward to understand allowed parameter space discriminate between them. suitable address muon $g\ensuremath{-}2$ anomaly.
