Effect of Varied Intensity of Football Specific Circuit Training on Agility, Speed and Explosive Strength among U-17 Football Players in Ethiopia

Objective: The purpose ofthis study was to examine the effect of high intensity and moderate intensityfootball specific circuit training on selected motor fitness variables among football players in Ethiopia.Method: For this random group design implemented. To achieve objective60 were taken as subjects study. These distributed three highintensity (N1=20), traininggroup (N2=20) control (N=20) using sampling technique. footballspecific engagedin trainingrespectively. agility, explosive strength speed. data collected usingthe standardized tests such zigzag run test for Agility, 30 meter speed Speed Standing longjump Explosive strength.. analyzed ANCOVA bonefferani post hoc forpaired mean comparison when significant difference exists.Result: Our finding indicated that HICT increased significantly strengthand than with a made (-.743, P=.000), .(360, P=.000) (-.725,P=.000) respectively. MICT also showed speed, andspeed (-.562, (.236, (-.367, P=.000)respectively. Moreover between (.125, (-.358, respectively.Whereas didn’t show their agility meandifference (-.180, P = .099).Conclusion: From we concluded is very crucial themagnitude adaptation training. Thus effectiveness plan trainersor coaches should seriously consider bring intended or required changes.
