چکیده
The effect of the surface charge density an electret filter on its collection efficiency degradation via isopropyl alcohol (IPA) species exposure is discussed in this study. Five filters with different electrostatic properties and identical physical were prepared exposed to IPA species. Furthermore, filtration performance was evaluated. Filters droplets showed a drastic reduction efficiency. In addition, higher had tolerance droplets, that is, challenged droplet amount neutralized high (= 5.0 × 10-5 C/m2) 2.5 times than low 1.9 C/m2). results study revealed there positive relationship between required neutralize filter.

متن کاملCharge inversion by multivalent ions: dependence on dielectric constant and surface-charge density.
Charge inversion occurs when the effective charge of a surface exposed to solution reverses polarity due to an excess of counterions accumulating in the immediate vicinity of the surface. Using atomic force spectroscopy, we have directly measured the effect on charge inversion of changing the dielectric constant of the solvent and the surface-charge density. Both decreasing the dielectric const...

متن کاملIntrinsic charge transport on the surface of organic semiconductors.
The air-gap field-effect technique enabled realization of the intrinsic (not limited by static disorder) polaronic transport on the surface of rubrene (C42H28) crystals over a wide temperature range. The signatures of this intrinsic transport are the anisotropy of the carrier mobility, mu, and the growth of mu with cooling. Anisotropy of mu vanishes in the activation regime at low temperatures,...
