effect of oral presentation on development of l2 learners grammar

this experimental study has been conducted to test the effect of oral presentation on the development of l2 learners grammar. but this oral presentation is not merely a deductive instruction of grammatical points, in this presentation two hypotheses of krashen (input and low filter hypotheses), stevicks viewpoints on grammar explanation and correction and widdowsons opinion on limited use of l1...

Effect of partial substitution of Ni by Co on the magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Ni50Mn35In15 Heusler alloy

The magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Ni48Co2Mn35In15 were studied using magnetization and heat capacity measurements. The magnetic entropy change (DSM) was evaluated from both magnetizing and demagnetizing fields. An inverse DSM for the magnetizing and demagnetizing processes were found to be 20.5 and 18.5 J kg!1 K!1, respectively, for DH1⁄4 5 T at the martensitic transition (T1⁄4 TM)....

Effect of C and N Addition on Thermoelectric Properties of TiNiSn Half-Heusler Compounds

We investigated the thermoelectric properties of the ternary half-Heusler compound, TiNiSn, when introducing C and N. The addition of C or N to TiNiSn leads to an enhanced power factor and a decreasing lattice thermal conductivity by point defect phonon scattering. The thermoelectric performances of TiNiSn alloys are significantly improved by adding 1 at. % TiN, TiC, and figure of merit (ZT) va...

Effect of Sb doping on the thermoelectric properties of Ti-based half-Heusler compounds, TiNiSn1ÀxSbx

Half-Heusler alloys ~MgAgAs type! with the general formula MNiSn where M is a group IV transition metal ~Hf, Zr, or Ti! are currently under investigation for potential thermoelectric materials. These materials exhibit a high negative thermopower (240 to 2250 mV/K) and low electrical resistivity values ~0.1–8 mV cm! both of which are necessary for a potential thermoelectric material. Results are...
