Effect of sample preparation method on mechanical behaviour of fibre-reinforced sand

چکیده
It is well known that the mechanical behaviour of pure sand dependent on internal soil structure, which can be affected by sample preparation methods. For fibre-reinforced (FRS), methods influence not only structure skeleton but also distribution fibre orientation and sand-fibre interaction. The effect FRS has been investigated using comprehensive drained triaxial compression tests. samples have prepared moist tamping (MT) vibration (MV). There a small difference in stress-strain relationship with different But response dramatically different. Under same initial conditions void ratio, confining pressure content, MV method shows 30–50% higher peak deviator stress much less dilative response.
