Effect of risk group on survival in non-Wilms' renal tumors in children

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate tne effect the risk group on clinical features disease, treatment strategies and especially survival in children with Non-Wilms’ renal tumors (NWRTs). 
 Materials Methods: Patients diagnosed NWRTs followed up treated between January 2012 2022 were included (n=29; 16 boys 13 girls). They categorized into high- low-risk groups based their histological type. Patient records reviewed retrospectively. Clinical characteristics, treatments, outcomes these patients analyzed.
 Results: high-risk comprised clear cell sarcoma (CCSK) (n=8, 27.6%), malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT) (n=3, 10.3%), carcinoma (n=2, 6.9%), non-Hodgkin lymphoma (n=1, 3.4%), primitive neuroectodermal (PNET) 4%). congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN) (n=9, 31%), angiomyolipoma (n=4, 3.8%), hemangioma 3.4%). Five died due disease progression (mortality rate, 17%), all whom belonged (three MRT, one CCSK, PNET). 5-year rate 72% for high 100% low group. Conclusion: Although are associated excellent outcomes, vary tumors. Physicians should be wary mortality rates PNET, design multidisciplinary treatments NWRTs.
