The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the good concentration PGPR for growth and yield reciprocal crosses purple waxy corn sweet (Zea mays L.), effect on character a cross between L.) with maize yield. research conducted in Tegalgondo Village, Karangploso District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. arranged Split-Plot Design consisting 4 main plots (PGPR Concentration) V0 (Without PGPR), V15 (15 ml / l water), V30 (30 V45 ( 45 PGPR/ water) consisted subplots (crosses) PW (Purple Waxy Maize), PWSC Corn♂ x Sweet Corn♀), SC (Sweet Corn) SCPW Purple Pulut Corn). ). data obtained were analyzed using Analysis Variance (ANOVA) at 5% level. If there is significant treatments, it continued comparison test LSD Costad software Microsoft Excel. Based results, can be concluded that an interaction administration observation sugar content characters. treatment ml/l water (V45) increase characteristics. results (PWSC) Maize Corn (SCPW) showed female parents more dominant than male parents.

Phenolic profiles of Andean purple corn (Zea mays L.)

Qualitative and quantitative high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) was performed to characterize the presence of phenolic compounds in Andean purple corn. Phenolic compounds were analyzed by separating them in two main fractions: a water fraction (WF) and an ethyl acetate fraction (EAF). The WF rich in anthocyanins revealed the presence of cyanidin-3-gluco...
