Effect of Psychological Support Intervention on Psychological Distress of Frontline Nurses during COVID19

Background: Psychosocial consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic may be particularly serious for nurses because a higher level exposure. Especially frontline that are at risk. Aim :The aim this study was to evaluate effect psychological support intervention on distress exposed COVID19.Subjects and Method: Design: The followed quazi experimental design. Setting: research conducted Baltim isolation hospital Qoutor general which affiliated Ministry Health-Egypt. Subjects: This study's target population made up 50 according inclusion criteria Tools: data gathered using two tools:Nurse's needs interests in dealing with COVID 19 questionnaire” andDepression, Anxiety Stress Scale. Results: most have high work pressure don’t adequate personal protective measures, majority had sever anxiety when COVID19 patients. Also, them moderate depression. All mild stress. results show there is significant difference among studied nurse's levels depression, stress before after implementation intervention. Conclusions: Nurses severe form regarding caring patients, decreased support. Recommendation: Provide updating knowledge about disease dimensions, vaccination Improve mental health, providing sufficient social
