چکیده

Chickpea (Cicer arientinum L.) is one of the most dominant pulse crops in India, which contributes 38 percent area and 50 production pulses compare to total India. contains protein-2.1%, carbohydrates-61.5%, fat-4.5% more iron, calcium niacin content. The main constrain chickpea due parasitic nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita) about 14% global annual yield loss. Pseudomonas fluorescens a bacterial bio-agent that can help nematode suppression plants. This experiment was conducted experience differences, if any, manganese content concerning inoculated with M. incognita combination as bioagent, where different treatments nematode, bacteria, chemicals are used sustaining enhancement disease resistance cultivars RSG 974, GG 5, GNG 2144. variety 2144 found highest treatment, only bacteria (P. fluorescens) inoculated, i.e., 6.44 mg/100g root, followed by 5.63 root 974 was, 4.14 respectively. Application fluorescence combined or alone gradually increased concentration roots plants (4.14 mg/100g), 5(5.63 (6.44 mg/100g) compared health check.

Characterising root trait variability in chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) germplasm

Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is an important grain legume crop but its sustainable production is challenged by predicted climate changes, which are likely to increase production limitations and uncertainty in yields. Characterising the variability in root architectural traits in a core collection of chickpea germplasm will provide the basis for breeding new germplasm with suitable root traits ...

Dissecting the Root Nodule Transcriptome of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.)

A hallmark trait of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), like other legumes, is the capability to convert atmospheric nitrogen (N2) into ammonia (NH3) in symbiotic association with Mesorhizobium ciceri. However, the complexity of molecular networks associated with the dynamics of nodule development in chickpea need to be analyzed in depth. Hence, in order to gain insights into the chickpea nodule dev...

GENETIC DIVERGENCE IN CHICKPEA (Cicer arietinum L.)

Genetic diversity of 27 chickpea genotypes was studied through Mahalanobis D and Principal Component analysis. The genotypes under study fall into five clusters. The cluster II contained the highest number of genotypes (11) and Cluster I contained the lowest. Cluster I produced the highest mean value for number of pods per plant. The inter cluster distances were much higher than the intra clust...

Transcriptome Analysis of Resistant and Susceptible Alfalfa Cultivars Infected With Root-Knot Nematode Meloidogyne incognita

Nematodes are one of the major limiting factors in alfalfa production. Root-knot nematodes (RKN, Meloidogyne spp.) are widely distributed and economically important sedentary endoparasites of agricultural crops and they may inflict significant damage to alfalfa fields. As of today, no studies have been published on global gene expression profiling in alfalfa infected with RKN or any other plant...
