Effect of Post-Heating Temperature on Efficiency of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell with ZnO:Al Thin Films Prepared by Sol-Gel Spin Coating

Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) has a great potential to convert light into electricity. In this article, prototype of DSSC had been successfully fabricated using ZnO:Al thin film and dye from red dragon fruit as working electrode. films were prepared by sol-gel spin coating method with variation post-heating temperatures. The XRD result confirms that all have hexagonal structure crystal sizes 16 nm 41 nm. SEM analysis showed the nanoparticles particle size 30 80 bandgap ranges 3.16 eV 3.40 eV. EIS reveals charge transfer resistance greatly decreases rise temperature. efficiency gradually improved increasing temperature 600°C highest 0.398%.
