Effect of Platinum Ribbons on Photoelectric Efficiencies of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

In this study, we fabricate a counter electrode by coating Pt ribbon onto fluorine-doped tin oxide glass substrate with layer. The gives rise to protrusive structure of the electrode, produced photolithography, sputtering and lift-off processes. experimental results reveal that photoelectric efficiency dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) (5.32%) is 21% higher than DSSC without (4.38%). This infers ribbons can increase efficiencies DSSCs. has large 5.32%, not only because specific channels for directional electron transport, but also its surface area. method proposed herein advantages low production cost easy fabrication be applied various structures.
