Effect of Ownership Structure and Performance of Listed Conglomerates Firms in Nigeria

This study analyses the effect of ownership structure and performance listed conglomerates on Nigeria Stock Exchange. Over years manufacturing firms in had been faced with liquidity risk, risk opportunity loss, overcapitalization, undercapitalization, longer cash conversion cycle. The secondary data used is obtained from six selected stock exchange for period five 2016-2020. objective to analyze performance. Return Assets as a measure firm while account receivable days, inventory payables, total sales are measures structure. first third hypothesis tested using correlation regression, second Analysis Variance (ANOVA). revealed that there positive significant relationship between return assets negative assets. indicates an increase payable will lead decrease vice versa. Therefore, meet firms' objectives, which profits create better investor value, adequate should be maintained each its different components effectively efficiently managed controlled.
