Effect of Mycorhizal and Vermicompost Application on Growth and Quality Flower Production of Annual Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum coronium L.)

Annual Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum coronarium L.) is one of the most widely cultivated garden flowers and highly suitable for loose flower, pot culture bedding purposes. The objective this research was to evaluate effect different mycorrhizal strains vermicompost on growth flowering coronarium. treatments comprise 4 mycorrhiza (No application, Glomus mosseae, Acaulospora laevis, Gigaspora margarita) doses (0 g/ m2, 500 750 1 kg/ m2). After year experiment, results revealed that chrysanthemum plants showed improved with application mycorrhiza. highest plant height (107.00 cm), maximum number side shoots per (18.22), (107.88), flower diameter duration (57.00 days) recorded mosseae + @ kg/m2 while weight (8.64 g), yield (902.36 g) shelf life (8.40 margarita kg/m2). Thus, integration vermi-compost serve as a way sustainable production.
