چکیده
Background: Some studies highlighted the role of Jujuboside A as a potent antioxidant on ischemic neurons. However, definitive effect this substance change in expression neuroprotective genes has not been clearly identified. Therefore, study aimed to investigate effects proliferation-inducing and cell count enhancement hippocampus after induction transient global ischemia/reperfusion. Materials Methods: This experimental was performed 24 male Wistar rats four groups control, ischemia, vehicle, A. Three days animals removed isolated from brain tissue. In order results intervention, nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), nerve growth factor (NGF), Brain-derived neurotrophic (BDNF) were determined using real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results: The showed that NGF significantly higher group than (P<0.05). Moreover, BDNF increased compared group. NFκB lower control groups, but these changes significant (P>0.05). Conclusion: can increase by promoting protective

Antioxidant and antiapoptotic effects of erdosteine in a rat model of ovarian ischemia-reperfusion injury
Objective(s): To evaluate the protective effect of erdosteine, an antiapoptotic and antioxidant agent, on torsion–detorsion evoked histopathological changes in experimental ovarian ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury. Materials and Methods: Eighteen female Wistar albino rats were used in control, IR, and IR+Edosteine (IR-E) groups, (n=6 in each). The IR-E group received the erdosteine for seven da...
متن کاملThe Effect of Diazoxide on Ultrastructural Changes Following Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury of Rat Brain
A B S T R A C T Introduction: Even today there is no effective drug therapy to prevent neuronal loss after brain stroke. In the present study we studied the effect of mitochondrial KATP channel regulators on neuronal ultrastructure after ischemia reperfusion in the rat. Materials & Methods: Rats temporarily subjected to four vessels occlusion for 15 minutes followed by 24 hours reperfusion with...
متن کاملCardioprotective Effect of Electroacupuncture Pretreatment on Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury via Antiapoptotic Signaling
Objectives. Our previous study has used RNA-seq technology to show that apoptotic molecules were involved in the myocardial protection of electroacupuncture pretreatment (EAP) on the ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) animal model. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate how EAP protects myocardium against myocardial I/R injury through antiapoptotic mechanism. Methods. By using rats with myoc...
متن کاملAntiapoptotic Effect of Simvastatin Ameliorates Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury
Background. Myocardial ischemial reperfusion represents a clinically relevant problem associated with thrombolysis, angioplasty, and coronary bypass surgery. Injury of myocardium due to ischemial reperfusion includes cardiac contractile dysfunction, arrhythmias, and irreversible myocytes damage. These changes are considered to be the consequence of imbalance between the formation of oxidants an...
متن کاملPreconditioning Effect of High-Intensity Aerobic Training on Myocardial Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury and Beclin-1 Gene Expression in Rats
Purpose: Ischemia-Reperfusion (IR) injury is one of the most common cardiac disorders leading to irreversible heart damage. Many underlying mechanisms seem to be involved, among which disruption of cellular autophagy balance. Since physical training has a beneficial effect on the improvement of autophagy balance, it may have a cardioprotective effect against IR injury. This study investigates t...
