چکیده

Abstract This research was conducted aiming to find alternative antibiotics using local plants that are rich in antioxidants. The antioxidant content is used as a feed additive and an antibiotics, so livestock products safe from antibiotic residues. Jamblang leaf one of the potential typical Aceh which expected be broiler cultivation. study 4 treatments jamblang extract given into drinking water. P0 water without extract, P1 0.25 g/L water, P2 0.5 P3 1 completely randomized design (CRD) with each treatment repeated 3 times total 5 chickens per replication. parameters measured were physical quality intestinal villi (height villi, lumen thickness number glands), population lactic acid bacteria (LAB) digestive tract, histological condition chickens. Data analyzed analysis variance. results showed had no significant effect (P>0.05) on but significantly (P<0.05) decreased LAB treatment. due still stood upright compared control. In conclusion, has not been able improve appearance tends reduce tract.

A Review on the Lactic Acid Bacteria Probiotic in the Control of Coccidiosis, Campylobacteriosis, and Salmonellosis in Broiler Chickens

Roles of probiotic microorganisms in digestive physiology are contributed to enhancing animals health and reducing the incidence of gastrointestinal diseases. Banning the use of antibiotics as growth promoters in poultry in many countries has been contributed to the increasing use of probiotics because long-term use of antibiotics causes antibiotic resistance of pathogenic bacteria in poultry a...

The effect of threonine and vitamin A on intestinal histology of broiler chickens

The aim of this was to find the intestinal histological alterations in chickens under the influence of threonine (Thr) and vitamin A treatment. A total 60 one day old birds were allotted to three treatments. Each treatment was further divided into four replicates of ten chickens each. They were fed 0.80% Thr and 1500 IU/kg vitamin A (control; NRC 1994 recommendation; T1), 0.87% Thr and 6250 IU/...
