Effect of Internal Vortex-Finder on Classification Performance for Double Vortex-Finder Hydrocyclone

چکیده

The double vortex-finder hydrocyclone formed by a coaxial insertion of an internal with smaller diameter inside the conventional single used to obtain two kinds products from and external overflows in one classification has attracted wide attention. To further improve performance hydrocyclone, effects length on were studied numerical simulation response surface modeling behavior fluid particle motion as research object. results showed that split ratio pressure drop overflow increased vortex-finder. was optimal when 0.88, yield ?20 ?m particles more than 80.0%, highest 95.0%. Increasing could reduce coarse content accuracy product. When is larger 80 mm, +30 lower 20.0%, maximum k value 16.3%; significant factor characterize effectiveness collection. revealed most important affecting distribution rate overflow. This paper expected advance development industry.
