Effect of Foliar Application of Gibberellic Acid on Plant Growth, Flowering and Yield Attributes in Pansy (Viola × wittrockiana Gams.)

An investigation was carried out to study the effect of foliar application GA3 on plant growth and quality attributes in Pansy (Viola × wittrockiana Gams.) during 2019-2020. The field experiment laid at randomized complete block design (RCBD). 18 treatment combinations including 6 doses i.e., 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 300 ppm were applied 3 durations 30, 40 50 DAT along with a non-factorial control. Of them, @ showed significant increment height (34%), spread (32%), number flowers per (25%), plot size (35%), flowering duration seed yield (68%), ( 68%) hectare 68%), seeds capsule (48%), capsules (38%) as compared control checks whereas earliest observed due when 30 DAT.
