چکیده
The present investigation was conducted at Agronomy Research Farm, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P.) during Rabi season 2019-20. experiment laid out in Factorial Randomized block design with three replications keeping four fertility levels viz., 100% RDF-IF (150 kg/h), 125% (25% through FYM), RDF + 25%RDN FYM, 75%RDF-IF+25%RDN FYM weed management practices Weedy Check, Weed free up to 60 days, Sulfosulfuron @ 30 g/h Carfentazole 20 g/h, Clodinafoppropagynol(60 g) metsulfuron(4 g)=(64 g/h). Results revealed that among application FYM) followed by125% FYM)+Clodinafoppropagynol (60 metsulfuron (4 g/h) a.i ha-1 proved as superior than other treatments respect population, nutrient loss by weed, dry matter accumulation found the treatment combination.

Effect of living mulches and conventional methods of weed control on weed occurrence and nutrient uptake in potato
The aim of the study was to determine the biomass, abundance and species composition ofweeds, as well as macroelement uptake in potato weeded using mechanical, mechanical–chemical and mechanical control combined with the sowing of living mulches of white mustard, common vetch, Persian clover and tansy phacelia. Abundance and biomass of the weeds was themost effectively limited by the mechanical ...
متن کاملConservation Tillage and Weed Management
Tillage has long been an essential component of traditional agricultural systems. Broadly defined, tillage is the mechanical manipulation of the soil and plant residues to prepare a seedbed for crop planting. The benefits of tillage are many: it loosens soil, enhances the release of nutrients from the soil for crop growth, kills weeds, and regulates the circulation of water and air within the s...
متن کاملTrue integrated weed management
Using the simplest of definitions, integrated weed management has been described as “putting components [of weed control] together, not taking them apart.” Yet, weed science has stopped at the “field edge” in assembling the components into a truly integrated approach. What is keeping weed scientists from developing real integrated weed control regardless of space and time? The answer to this qu...
