Effect of Fe-Ni Substitution in FeNiSiB Soft Magnetic Alloys Produced by Melt Spinning

Abstract Alloys of FeNiSiB soft magnetic materials containing variable Fe and Ni contents (wt.%) have been produced by melt spinning method, a kind rapid solidification technique. The structural properties alloys with were investigated increasing the ratio. X-ray diffraction analysis SEM images shows that alloy ribbons generally an amorphous structure, together also partially nanocrystalline regions. It was observed structure became much more content in composition. Among ribbons, highest saturation magnetization obtained as 0.6 emu/g specimen 50 wt.% Fe. In addition, Curie temperature sample 46
