Effect of Dental Students’ Dressing on Dentist-Patient Relationship

Background: To establish a good and effective relationship between doctor his/her patient, certain non-verbal standards are as necessary knowledge skills. According to evidence, one of these may be the dentist’s attire. Therefore, this study aimed determine effect dental students’ dressing on patients’ trust confidence. Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive was performed evaluate perception school patients. After reviewing pictures students in six different dress styles, respondents were asked some questions their preference for attire, well several targeting The collected data analyzed using SPSS 16. Results: In present study, 169 with mean age 27.5 years old enrolled, including 47% men 53% women. included significantly favored male dentists long white coat surgical scrubs preferred scarf women (P<0.001).
