Abstract The goal of this study was to look into growth changes and a number metabolic events in Fe 2+ treated Lupinus albus, Triticum aestivum , Vicia faba, Zea mays plants assess the role biosorption by Rhodotorula mucilaginosa YMM19 alleviate these changes. effect concentrations (untreated with biosorbent) on seed germination studied. T. plumule stimulated low dose . However, application reduced elongation plumule, radicle all seeds during germination. High doses biosorbent significantly increased seedling weights (fresh dry) plants. Also, after 20 days, height, weight seedlings L. albus Z. were biosorbed solution. In addition, enhanced total carbohydrate protein accumulation both radicles. Moreover, caused slight suppression α- β-amylase 2 but opposite observed Thus, R. is an efficient system for removing negative excess from water.
