Effect of a <em>Pseudomonas fluorescens</em>-based Biofertilizer on Sweet Potato Yield Components

A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of a Pseudomonas fluorescens-based biofertilizer on sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L) Lam) yield. The application by immersion cuttings before sowing for 0, 5, 10 and 15 minutes with combination doses 50 100% NPK mineral fertilizer in randomized block design three replications (12 treatments-combinations). During harvest (130 days after planting), some measurements related yield components were recorded ten randomly selected plants from each plot. All treatments Pseudomonas’ showed positive productive response. With min highest (56.09 tha-1), followed other without statistical differences among them. treatment 50% (49.58 tha-1) had no control variant (100% NPK, 51.60 tha-1). Based results, it can be concluded that this could an appropriate alternative increase yield, saving current quantity recommended fertilizer, through more friendly environmental techniques promote sustainable, efficient agriculture.
