The relevance of the study general educational space is strengthened by fact that significant transformations are currently taking place in as a component social space, which parallel with implementation decentralization reform. article analyzes socio-geographical approaches to concept we propose consider from point view secondary education institutions. geospace, outlined socio-economic because it result interaction and economic spaces. identified local centers belong "general space" characterized, define territory on institutions various types forms, well participants process, ensure activities, function, organize process interact each other. We determined structure properties space. three-dimensional, highlighting at same time such components (dimensions) as: territorial placement institutions; process; quality providing services. General characterized indicators length, dynamism, continuity. Quantitative qualitative functioning were described. Characterization regional region, plays special role development education, was carried out. has potential creates foundation national security, ensures competitiveness country, region among other state bodies.
