Educational Augmented Reality Technology for Language Learning and Teaching: A Comprehensive Review

The purpose of this paper is to present a review Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an educational tool for foreign language education. Following short yet comprehensive literature review, the reviews AR in terms learning theories, pedagogies, teachers, students, culture, infrastructure, and sustainability based on framework developed by Osterweil et al. (2016) evaluating appropriateness use global development programs. showed that provides several benefits learning; however, it not ready total integration into classes. also practical suggestions activities enriched with four skills recommended applications. This offers various implications teacher educators, researchers coursebook developers.
