Educational and Literacy Dimensions of Putian Coastal Folk Songs in Fujian Province, China

This study focuses on the educational and literacy dimensions embedded within Putian coastal folk songs in Fujian Province, China. The investigates cultural significance historical development of these songs, employing research methods from musicology ethnomusicology. With a particular emphasis region Putian, aims to uncover value aspects traditional musical compositions. findings reveal existence approximately 196 recorded works, with nine emerging as most popular region. article also highlights list recognized heirs associated songs.
