Gifted and talented students do not constitute one homogenious group. This fact evokes the need for definition of their characteristics identification this population. Undoubtedly metacognitive skills can lead to recognize his/her strengths weaknesses him/herself upper levels pyramid knowledge. Moreover, giftedness at school requires more than IQ tests, as it is multidimensional. Research argues that early intervention are crucial due fulfilling needs education. Furthermore, detection with special provides equal opportunities dual strength students.
