Ecosystem Readiness: Blockchain Adoption is Driven Externally

چکیده

Blockchain technology has been extensively tested, implemented, used, or even abandoned by organizations. Whether organizations adopt blockchain depends on many factors. Previous literature identified a range of potential factors affecting the adoption technology, but most studies have focused solely subset specific As result, these can provide only limited explanations for varying degrees adoption. By relying well-established Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, we propose an extended Adoption Model (BAM). We derive rich set from current state research and business ecosystem extend them conceptual reasoning. then develop testable hypotheses each The resulting 14 are tested conducting survey ( n = 350) within DACH-region (Germany, Austria Switzerland). quantitatively analyze our BAM with binary logistic regression analysis identify six constructs impacting (relative advantage, observability, organizational age, external stakeholder pressure, regulatory uncertainty, scope ecosystem). Based findings introduce novel idea “ecosystem readiness” as important factor blockchain. Ecosystem readiness is characterized following attributes: 1) large scope, 2) stakeholders that not yet collaborating in trustful regulated environment, 3) powerful organization leading ecosystem. This further intentionally promotes innovation 4) making benefits this new observable others, 5) putting pressure other participants to eventually 6) striving certainty application use

Advancing Consumer Adoption of Blockchain Applications

Blockchain technology as a whole is experiencing a dramatic rise in adoption, in no small part due to the developer-friendly Ethereum network. While the number of smart-contract powered distributed applications (Dapps) continues to rise, they face many of the same challenges all new technologies face as they are introduced to a market. By modeling the consumer adoption of blockchain technology ...

Galaxy Evolution : Internally or Externally Driven ?

1 RESUMEN El resumen será traducido al español por los editores. The globally-averaged star formation rate in the Universe has been steadily declining since at least z ∼ 1. This may be due either to very local processes operating within the average galaxy, or to external, environmental effects. Specifically, the build-up of structure may be responsible for terminating star formation in some gal...

Readiness potentials driven by non-motoric processes.

An increase in brain activity known as the "readiness potential" (RP) can be seen over central scalp locations in the seconds leading up to a volitionally timed movement. This activity precedes awareness of the ensuing movement by as much as two seconds and has been hypothesized to reflect preconscious planning and/or preparation of the movement. Using a novel experimental design, we teased apa...
