Eco-concrete for obtaining “green” construction elements

Abstract The building materials branch of the construction industry is continuously developing due to occurrence new products which seek improve “green” character buildings by using different types wastes. Prefabricated sizes such as blocks, panels, beams and other spatial elements can now be obtained with eco-materials. Concrete most used material in thus it necessary diminish its environmental pollution. There are ways for improving concrete, addition waste (fly ash, silica fume, slag, shredded tyre rubber, agricultural powder wastes, etc.) or replacing some components (i.e. cement, aggregates) Materials pozzolanic properties banana leaves powder, volcanic tuff, can, certain proportions, replace cement. In order aggregates, substitution corresponding aggregate sort (polystyrene granules, plastic recipients, etc). current article, experimental results on eco-concrete producing reinforced concrete presented. pouring contains following materials: fly ash replacement metalic fibers, polyester fibers hemp fibers. models were tested two point bending. strength capacity type failure analysed compared a function eco-concrete.
