Earthworm diversity and distribution in district Mandi, Himachal Pradesh of Northwest Himalaya, India

The present survey of diversity and distribution earthworms in District Mandi Northwest Himalayan region conducted two year from May 2013 to April 2015. Based on study reported 17 species belonging 4 families. Information scientific name, family, number, locality general habitat are given for each discussed the text. Out these species, 6 native 11 exotic recorded. There 3 which firstly recorded area includes Eisenia fetida, Argilophilus sp. Amynthas morrisi. provided extended information earthworms’ with special reference change along vegetation altitude.
