چکیده

Objectives: The coronary endarterectomy combined with artery bypass grafting (CABG) is an useful but still controversial surgical technique in diffuse disease. aim of this study was to analyze the operative and early postoperative outcomes patients who underwent CABG without endarterectomy. Methods: This retrospective included a total 312 consequtive undergoing on-pump from December 2018 2020 Department Cardiovascular Surgery, Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training Research Hospital. Patients were divided into 2 groups as those (Group 1, n = 48) isolated 2, 264). Peroperative variables obtained our hospital's computerized database retrospectively analyzed. Results: Previous percutaneus intervention rate number diabetes mellitus significantly higher group. demographics characteristics similar between two groups. median distal anastomoses 4 (2-5) Group 1 (1-5) 2. Median cross-clamp duration perfusion times longer than (82 min vs. 63 min; p < 0.001 120 95 0.003, respectively). A 54 practices performed on 48 patients, LAD (73%) most endarterectomized vessel. In 24 hours high-sensitive troponin I levels (p 0.001). There no significant difference terms mortality, low cardiac output rates perioperative myocardial infarction rates. Postoperative atrial fibrillation 0.023). Conclusions: Although complex procedure, disease, it essential sometimes mandotary method order achieve complete revacularization can be safely acceptable outcomes.

Comparison of off-pump and on-pump coronary endarterectomy for patients with diffusely diseased coronary arteries: early and midterm outcome

BACKGROUND Coronary endarterectomy (CE) is an alternative for the diffusely diseased left anterior descending (LAD), but its mid and long term results are largely questionable. This study is to compare the early to mid-term results between off-pump and on-pump coronary endarterectomy with coronary artery bypass grafting. METHODS 212 consecutive patients underwent CE and bypass grafting for di...

Simultaneous Carotid Endarterectomy and Coronary Revascularization is Safe Using Either On-Pump or Off-Pump Technique.

The appropriate surgical strategy for patients with combined carotid and coronary artery disease remains controversial. We retrospectively compared our surgical results for 2 types of approaches in this disorder. The records of 76 patients consecutively operated on for carotid and coronary artery disease between August 1993 and October 2004 were reviewed. There were 18 males (66.6%) and 9 femal...

Early outcome after off-pump versus on-pump coronary bypass surgery: results from a randomized study.

BACKGROUND The use of cardiopulmonary bypass during coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) has been associated with substantial morbidity. The recent introduction of cardiac stabilizers facilitates CABG without cardiopulmonary bypass (off-pump CABG), but it is unknown whether cardiac outcome after off-pump surgery is similar to that for the on-pump procedure. METHODS AND RESULTS In a multicent...

Early results of coronary artery bypass grafting with coronary endarterectomy for severe coronary artery disease

BACKGROUND Despite the existence of controversial debates on the efficiency of coronary endarterectomy (CE), it is still used as an adjunct to coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). This is particularly true in patients with endstage coronary artery disease. Given the improvements in cardiac surgery and postoperative care, as well as the rising number of elderly patient with numerous co-morbid...

Early outcome of off-pump versus on-pump coronary revascularization

INTRODUCTION The use of coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) or without CPB technique (off-pump) can be associated with different mortality and morbidity and their outcomes remain uncertain. The goal of this study was to evaluate the early outcome of on-pump versus off-pump CABG. METHODS We conducted a retrospective database review of 13866 patients (13560 p...
