چکیده
Abstract Early-age cement paste or mortar can be enhanced by curing it in a CO 2 chamber. The study was initiated with investigation on the optimum compressive strength replacing to carbide lime 0, 5, 10, 15 and 20% of Carbide Lime Waste (CLW) content. desired CLW at 28 normal age selected similar mix proportion again casted fresh cured for 1,3 7 days under controlled curing. concentration temperature were fixed 60% respectively. depth carbonation investigated. In addition, their microstructural properties TGA test analysed early ages using pastes. It found that containing 5% had UPV water condition. Overall, control significantly gained as compared technique. used potential substitute portion has provide better understanding sequestration mortar. result shows CaCO 3 precipitation higher than Ca(OH) behaviour which effectively react formed stable

Aging and Curing Temperature Effects on Compressive Strength of Mortar Containing Lime Stone Quarry Dust and Industrial Granite Sludge
In this study, the researchers investigated the potential use of locally available waste materials from the lime stone quarry and the granite industry as a partial replacement of cement. Quarry sites and granite industry in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia produces tons of powder wastes in the form of quarry dust (QD) and granite sludge (GS), respectively, causing serious environmental prob...
متن کاملInfluence of Mortar Water Content on the Strength of Lime Mortar Masonry
Water content affects mortar properties and the quality of the resultant masonry, however, it is often subjectively determined by the mason by assessing workability. This lack of explicit methodology and data, can lead to lack of mortar consistency and field performance, adversely affecting full uptake of lime mortars into mainstream technology. The aim of this research is to assist develop con...
متن کاملInvestigation of copper sorption by sugar beet processing lime waste.
In the western United States, sugar beet processing for sugar recovery generates a lime-based waste product (∼250,000 Mg yr) that has little liming value in the region's calcareous soils. This area has recently experienced an increase in dairy production, with dairies using copper (Cu)-based hoof baths to prevent hoof diseases. A concern exists regarding soil Cu accumulation because spent hoof ...
