Teacher expertise research uses different approaches, among them competence models. The model of mathematics-specific professional in this study differentiates action-related and reflective competence, which pertain to types demands according dual processing theories should positively impact teaching quality. cross-sectional with early childhood teachers investigates the structure teacher its relations quality learning support line notion adaptive when playing board games. findings a differentiation competences (structural validity evidence).
